Wanaka NZ Home away from Home

We stop in a town called Wanaka, still on the outskirts of Aspiring national park whose main features are two enormous fresh water lakes and stunning views of the surrounding mountain ranges.

We plan to stay here for a few days exploring the area – it is the perfect town for us with lots of hiking and swimming and we need to stay in one place for longer than usual as we are getting a little road weary.

Oh… here is how you do it. Did you get my other email? Here, I’ll put it here in case you didn’t get the other one. This is so fun!!! Does everyone else see these? or just you guys?

I woke up thinking about you guys this morning and here’s an email saying I can sign up and travel with you!! I was thinking about how we really want to travel in NZ and can’t wait to get the low down from you! now we have it every time you blog!!

Hope you are doing great – what’s not to be great about this time in your life?!!! and that your minds are full of ease and peacefulness and your bodies are healthy and you are HAPPY!!

We are very well. It’s mid winter, the sun is out, Mukunda and brother Ashley are here for a week. We are healthy and looking forward to 2011 where we hope to work better, play more, enjoy the nuptials of our kids, and be inspired by more meditation, more quiet, and more balance.

I, of course, am still thrilled about Gestalt Equine Psychotherapy training and bummed I have to miss the intensive in Feb when we will be at Kripalu.

Life is good. I am grateful for all things great and small.

We send you much love. I hope this gets to you, I don’t really know how to email through your blog yet. Maybe I’ll try one more time.

    Love you both.

    Hi you two,

Jen just gave me the link so I could check out the blog. *Awesome* way to share your travels! I fired up Google Maps so I could follow your route — so fun to see Route 6, just a squiggly yellow line on the map, come alive through your pictures and words.

Your descriptions of being surrounded in nature resonate so strongly with the experience we had in Grand Canyon – totally different geography, but the bottom line is the same: grandeur, stillness, and *presence*.

Keep the posts coming, I’ll happily comment away and live vicariously through you!! 🙂
